Sliding Plug Doors

The door systems are built to the highest quality standard and are designed to withstand the rigors of the modern transport industry where reliability and safety are the paramount concerns.

A soft rubber section is fitted along the door wing leading edge. This provides a soft cushion in the event of the door encountering an obstacle during closure and houses the optional sensitive edge system. Pneumatic or electrical sensitive edge systems, both available with fail-safe self-test facilities, can be fitted into the leading edge rubber. Peripheral seals around the three remaining sides seal against the vehicle body seid when the door is closed providing a superior seal, eliminating drafts to the fullest possible extent.
